My watercolor painting, Passage 2, with its fluid form and translucent color is inspired by agate. The organic nature of how the watered down pigments soak into the fibers of the paper is germane to the subject. I'm interested in showing how stillness and activity coexist.
This painting is one of a pair, Passage 1 & 2. They can be hung side by side, facing towards or away from each other. However, either painting can stand alone as one single piece to be enjoyed for its own unique composition.
