One of a series of landscape studies. My goal with this series was to bring my love for the mountains directly into my artwork by sketching on hikes through the Blue Ridge. The magic of the mountains takes on another feel when the sun shines brightly through the trees and you see the mountains stretch out over the horizon. The world is covered in yellow gold and you feel your place among the sky as you climb.
