I took this photograph while on a long hike through the Redwoods. I had been living out of my car and touring the Western US for about 4 weeks, and despite all the National Parks and sites I had seen, the Redwoods took my breath away. They seemed nurturing and safe. I hope that this piece communicates that feeling.
