Creating tissue paper collages has become my favorite medium to capture the essence of mid-century modern style while infusing a youthful, sophisticated twist through the use of a humble material. In "bird chatter white," the converging and overlapping shapes stacked vertically reminded me of an abstract group of birds chit chatting away while sitting along a wire.
