Frame Close-up
Sushi chefs begin with making rice- not until they have perfected this skill are they allowed to touch a piece of fish. This series of drawings is an homage to the hundreds of hours spent making the precious rice. Creating them is an exercise in mindfulness. Each grain is drawn individually creating the larger composition.
