About the work
Ever since I was a little girl, art has filled me with such a sense of joy. It is my bliss. When I'm creating, I'm in the flow. My process is very intuitive. What starts with a photograph or a sketch, becomes part of a collage that evolves into the finished pattern. This piece is Inspired by color and pattern found in nature. I love the feeling that is evoked when different colors interact with each other.

Her work has been exhibited at the River East Art Center and the ARC Gallery in Chicago, IL and in 2010 was awarded the Juror’s Choice at the Chicago Art Open.
