About the work

Nature photography for me is a meditative process. I enjoy looking for interesting textures, shapes, and colors found in our environmental surroundings. Works that are not so traditional and typical representations of nature are most interesting to me. Finding just the right angle or perspective, the right coloring, or a unique view that adds interest not ordinarily seen in a straight on shot of nature. The yellow glow from the leaves reminds me of the great warmth and sun you get in the summer. This image is a more modern interpretation.
