Leaf was born from my deep appreciation for nature’s simplicity. I’m constantly inspired by the way leaves carry both delicacy and strength, how their forms appear effortless yet are perfectly engineered by nature.
In this piece, I work with up-cycled cotton, giving new life to existing materials. Sustainability is important to me, and transforming reclaimed fibers into sculptural art feels intentional and responsible. The process is slow and detailed. Each strand is knotted, then carefully combed and aligned to follow the natural curve of a leaf. I spend extensive time refining the silhouette, adjusting tension, and shaping the fibers so the final form feels fluid and balanced.
The felt backing provides quiet support, allowing the softness of the cotton to hold its structure while maintaining a clean, sculptural presence.
