Tina Johnson lives in Metairie, Louisiana - just outside New Orleans, where she grew up. She uses both bold and subtle color to create a place to land and rest. She uses collage and mixed media to add texture and show layers of a story - that the viewer gets to imagine. She is inspired by beach finds, any body of water, trees and seed pods, lines/stripes/grids, my travels in asia & life as a mother with an 11 year old.
