Loose sketchy watercolor of cactus in dusky blue. I'm always inspired by color, especially color where you usually don't see it in nature. I painted this on a rainy day in the Pacific Northwest when I was thinking about warmth and sun. Blue is one of my favorite colors to paint with, it features predominantly in all my paintings.
