I love working with simple, minimal and sometimes abstract shapes - and for this piece, I was inspired to create a quirky and whimsical lion with a rainbow mane that gives an unexpected and playful look. I also love how the mane gives an abstract nod to the idea of a quilt or patchwork blanket.
