I shot this photograph on a warm sunny day exploring the beautiful beaches in Tulum, Mexico. I was instantly drawn to the subtle lines drawn in the sand from the soft rolling waves which created a minimalistic and modern abstraction of the ocean. As I look at this image, I recall the heat from the sun, waves slowly rolling in over warm white sand and the salt in the air, all encompassing a sense of tranquility and happiness.
