About the work

Aquatinta was made in the traditional printing technique, called aquatint, which is made by etching a metal plate and immersing it into acid, to create different areas of tones and shades. For the composition, I was inspired by the cyanotype technique of making blueprints of wildflowers and foliage. I've then combined the idea in a minimal almost sculptural-looking 3D collage.
