This drawing was inspired by a wool rug I purchased at my local farmers market. The weaver is also the farmer who raised the sheep that supplied the wool. It's a lovely reminder of the quality and dedication of craftsmanship that goes into constructing a functional object that is also a thing of beauty. This drawing was created using water soluble graphite washes on rough watercolor paper.
