Dreams do not always make sense. I believe one reason is because they are non-dual, allowing opposites to exist together. The familiar is presented as unfamiliar, sharp as blurry, strange as commonplace. Opposites hold space to co-exist within the dream realm. With this piece, I want to convey this quality of dreams, presenting a figure seemingly known who is ultimately unknown. This piece echoes those in my "She" series, depicting a silhouetted human form.
