We drove from Minneapolis to Nashville in late March, leaving winter in our wake and discovering spring along the way. Flowering trees heralded our arrival with cascading petals like celebratory confetti. These magnolia blossoms caught my eye, half open and windblown, a fetching metaphor for the seasonal shift.
