I wanted to capture a sense of wildness, and the emulsion lift adds to that raw, in-the-moment vibe. Mundane, yet soft, peaceful, and quietly beautiful. This image and its partner were shot on instant film on a 1970's era vintage camera. Shot on trail in the spring in the Santa Monica mountains, California.
