The beach is one of my favorite subjects to paint and acrylic is the perfect medium to get this atmospheric effect. Just like it can exist in nature. I use brushstrokes to blend colors together to create a moody sky, beach grass, and sandy beaches. I have been to many beaches but this painting is in remberance of a few North Carolina beaches doing the summertime. My intention is to paint a soothing, calm beach-scape that can hang in your home for years to come.
