This photograph was taken in the early morning on the Washington coast. This beach is unique as you have to hike through rain forest to get to it. The lining of the trees on the edge of the beach is one of the reasons the location is so special. I was drawn to how the sand and the sky balance each other out - and grounded by the trees.
