This painting is inspired by my daughter, lover of the forest and collector of all things lush and mossy. Puddles of acrylic ink create a soft, yet rugged bouquet of abstract marks and shapes to create an uplifting, minimalist composition reminiscent of late fall foraging.

My aesthetic is ever-changing. Ethereal-light-reflective and playful one moment, industrial-modern-gritty-urban the next. I find it so difficult to limit myself to any one style because I like to be surrounded by contrasting elements in my own environment. A painting should evoke emotion in its owner every time he or she looks at it. When I create my paintings, I envision them in someone’s home and hope that each piece brings as much joy to its new owner as it did to me during its creation. less
