Inspired by Wayne Thiebaud's vibrant depictions of commonplace objects, I painted a classic diner scene featuring waffles topped with butter, syrup, and strawberries. Emulating Thiebaud's approach, I used playful, unexpected colors and bold shadows to elevate an ordinary scene into a captivating display.
