About the work

Agave after Dark is an original, acrylic painting. It depicts an agave plant in cool pinks and near-blue greens, set against a high-contrast backdrop suggesting nightfall. The succulent leaves appear to be reaching for the light as they grow. The shape of the leaves and the brushstrokes evoke movement and change.
