Watercolor has always been my first choice when painting, with it's fluid mingling of colors and happy surprises of shapes and colors. This partially abstracted landscape done in graphite and watercolors took on a flow of its own. My goal for this piece was to capture the shapes and jewel colors created by the light streaming through the trees.

I've been drawn to art for as long as I can remember. My inspiration comes from shapes, colors, nature, and just the pure fun of creating. My work has turned to many mediums, sometimes combining one or many, realism and abstract, becoming more spontaneous and evolving as I move through it.
