I have always loved looking out an airplane widow and seeing the complex world simplified into shapes and color, line and texture. There is something calming that comes with perspective and for me it always encourages vivid daydreams of possibility. Using acrylic, emulsion and gouache on watercolor paper, this painting is framed from the perspective of someone trying to find their place in the world.
