As an architect, I am fascinated by the varying characters of concrete and what architects and engineers can do with this versatile material. This black and white photograph of a spiral staircase in concrete shows how the material can be transformed into a flowing sculpture that reflects light and gives the impression of a spinning, swaying movement.
