Minimalism, shapes, textures, lines and spatial relationships are all elements that greatly inspire my design aesthetic. All of these properties also exist in architecture. There is something about the forms in structures that make me think of living art. This is an idea that I wanted to capture with this piece.

I am a bit obsessed with paper. Folding it, cutting it, sewing it, sometimes literally putting into the blender to make new paper, all serve as a meditative process and help me to see new ideas.
