About the work
A drive along the Sonoma Coast, after a weekend of thunderstorms, was the inspiration for this gouache painting. Loose brushstrokes and pastel colors capture the freshness of the coast after a morning rain. Nature is a constant source of inspiration for my work, and California Coast never disappoints.
