About the work

This is part of a series about summer lines, shapes, and colors. It is part of a larger work exploring memories and summer landscapes. This particular piece is based around beach life. There are abstracted shapes from lifeguard stands and swim bottoms. There is a lot of movement in the blue background, reminiscent of the water movement. The light, quick, free brushstrokes are representative of those carefree summer beach feels.
