About the work
One of two in a series depicting the local beauty of a cut tree lot. This tree lot is within minutes of my own home, and we purchase our trees here every year. The woman who runs the lot is friendly and gracious, and yet could certainly hold her own. The utilitarian lighting adds to the overall mood, allowing the piece to feel familiar and warm.
