This piece was inspired by a trip to Washington DC during the spring Cherry Blossom Festival. Seeing all the pale pink petals on the trees was beautiful. I included lots of DC landmarks to round out this piece. The beauty of the DC area urged me to capture a light, spring-time mood in this illustration.
