'Said and Done' depicts a simple crumpled piece of paper. I like the way that this mundane, familiar form has such a beauty when isolated and highlighted in this way. On the one hand it is a pure study of form and light playing off of the planar angles with a brightly colored background. But the subject matter suggests another story - a human one. What is the content and why was it crumpled and discarded?
