Inspired by a recent visit with my kids to the “Wild Things — The Art of Maurice Sendak” exhibit at the Denver Art Museum, “take me with you” captures a layered, abstract forest where imagination and adventure awaits. I often describe my collage-making process as playful, but here I’ve pushed to create a composition that’s bouncy and youthful and draws the viewer into imagining what lies beyond the leafy curtain.
