This spring I've discovered my love for capturing nature, specifically flowers, here in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. During this series, I experimented by shooting very close and using strong contrasts. I really enjoy studying the play between light and shadow. One of the perks of living in the PNW is being able to regularly capture nature after a good dose of rain which I feel amplifies it's beauty.
