As a child I visited the north shore of Lake Superior every year with my family. I would spend hours walking the beach, looking for "Sea glass". I was fascinated by the smoothness, the translucent quality of each little piece, and the washed out colors. This piece is inspired by the distinct memory of those beautiful little treasures.
