Acorns fall from the large oak trees in my yard as autumn approaches. I was intrigued with painting a tiny object on a large scale, and this little nut seemed the perfect subject for the third painiting in my "The Four Seasons II" series. Warm browns combine with cool blue and other jewels tones of the season to create a bold composition.
