Combining photographic elements of alpine landscapes, digital collage and paint textures, this piece is a departure from the ordinary and blends the natural world with the artistic in a stunning textural abstract composition.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

by Melanie Severin
I'm a Canadian designer/artist, loving wife, and mom to 3 amazing kids! We live in rural Alberta, Canada, and I work from a lovely home-based studio, surrounded by aspen forest, wildlife, and natural beauty. My work is heavily inspired by nature and strives to achieve that (im)perfect balance between sophistication and whimsy.
