I took inspiration for this illustration from a little patch of spring blooms coming up along the sidewalk in my Chicago neighborhood. In April of 2020, with a shelter-in-place order, my family and I took daily walks through the neighborhood, stopping to admire many tiny details that would have been missed otherwise.

With a BA in Photography and a colorful list of creative gigs throughout my career, I found my true creative love of illustration and surface design in 2014. My 2 daughters (ages 6 and 9) keep things colorful and fun in my world. less
