My work is usually very nostalgic and with this piece, I was inspired by timeless children's toys. I decided to go bold and graphic with the use of the classic children's dinosaur figurines, making them pop against the white background. I used the negative space to create subtle vignettes with the animals interacting with each other, while still looking strewn about as if on a child's floor. I was inspired by my son and wanted to create artwork I would like to hang in his room.
