About the work

This piece is an abstract collage made of old magazines I collect. It loosely refers to the landscape form. The texture of an old paper beautifully contrasts with the modern abstract form of the work and it gives it a slightly melancholic vibe. The impression of distant space and the static composition is meant to evoke a feeling of peace. This piece is a part of a series called Horizons.
