What I love most about this photo, and perhaps water photography, is that it captures such a transient and free moment. This image can never be recreated. And yet, when you look at it, you are immediately transported to this singular moment in time. I can feel the warm, golden light radiating behind the floating silhouette and once again, I return to the water. I titled this piece, "Pause" because I imagine the figure freezing this moment in time. That amidst the push and pull of the ocean, as in life, there is this beautiful, serene pause.
