I've always been drawn to abstraction, as a way of simplifying the complexity of the world, reconfiguring parts into peaceful compositions. In place of representation, color and shape evoke aura and feeling. This piece was inspired by those crystal clear moments when the moon shines in the day time.

Keren Toledano is a New York based abstract artist . She worked as a literary agent, story editor, freelance writer and film archivist, before committing herself to the creative life. She now splits her time between painting and writing. In addition to collaborations with home decor brands and art publishers, her work has been featured at international fairs and in publications such as Maker’s Magazine.
