I was born in Tucson, Arizona, and grew up frequently visiting to see my grandparents, but I had never seen the bright side of the arid city. I ventured out to Barrio Viejo on a rainy day and found an insanely inspiring neighborhood full of bright walls and desert blooms. When I spotted this bright pink Bougainvillea against the soft pink wall, I couldn't simply keep walking. I had to stop to take the portrait it begged for.

As the daughter of a pilot, I've suffered from a wicked case of wanderlust for as long as I can remember. I spent two of the best years of my life living in Madrid, Spain, traveling and photographing around Europe. I adore my Old English Sheepdog, Olive, I love hot tea & craft beer, and Madrid, Spain, will forever have my heart.
