This tranquil abstract landscape was inspired by the flat horizon, wide open space, and beautiful stillness of the Canadian prairies where I was born and raised. Layers of bold brushstrokes in similar shades draw the eye towards the horizon while surrounding lighter shades give the composition plenty of space to breathe.
