I always take photographs on the lift anytime I'm skiing. I love the contrast of the chairs and wires against the bright snow and the trees that line the runs along the way. This is a watercolor interpretation of one of my more recent photographs, taken in Tahoe, California.

I work from my home-based studio in San Francisco. Mostly self-taught, my style is equal parts classic, understated and whimsical. I am inspired by food, flora, the colors in nature and human faces. I approach most of my art in a methodical manner as my left and right hemispheres fight for position.
