This piece is an abstract drawing that goes well on its own or as a diptych with my other abstract drawing available. I utilize a technique of using powder graphite to achieve a painterly effect in combination with bold minimal lines in charcoal.

Kirsta Niemie Benedetti lives and works in Columbus, Ohio with her husband and two daughters. Currently she is focusing on abstract painting and portrait installations using a combination of acrylic and latex paint layered with graphite drawings on canvas. Her travels, living abroad, and social justice are often motivations for subject matter.
