How to Customize Minted’s Graduation Announcements
Select your favorite graduation card template. Then, select “Personalize.”
Once in our customizer, you can…
- Select the size, silhouette, and premium paper type.
- Upload your favorite photo to use on the front of the card.
- Select from the colorways created by the card’s designer or add custom colors for the background or typography.
- Add custom foil text to highlight your name, graduation year, or school.
- Update the text and add additional text boxes to share a favorite quote or the details of your graduation ceremony.
- Add custom artwork, such as your school’s logo, family crest, or favorite doodle.
- Share additional information and photos by selecting a pre-designed layout for the back of your card or creating your own.
After you’ve personalized your graduation announcement, you can request a digital proof to ensure the custom colors and elements you’ve chosen look just right before placing your order.
When to Order Minted Graduation Announcement Cards
Once you’ve finalized your design, expect to receive your graduation cards within five business days. (Express shipping is also available.) Because we recommend sending your graduation announcements two to three weeks before the ceremony, it is best to place your order about a month ahead of graduation to ensure you have enough time to receive your cards, assemble your envelopes, and mail them off to your family and friends.
How Many Graduation Announcements to Order
We recommend ordering 10% more grad announcement cards than you think you need. That way, you’ll have extras should you realize you left someone off your list, or keep as mementos.
Pro tip: Use Minted’s digital address book to request and keep track of your recipients' addresses. When you’re ready to order your graduation cards, we’ll address the envelopes for you (for free!).
