What I love most in cities is to walk their streets, and wander through them, with or without a purpose. I once set on doing this in my own city, Paris, with a photo assignment in mind. I realized that day that I was spending most of my time looking at my feet and missing out on so much of what was going on up above. From then on, I started looking up more and more, and photographing city decor above street level.
