As a kid I would sometimes go Downtown with my Father on the weekends. Downtown was a vastly different place than my suburban home. I still like to get out and explore the old buildings and streets although it is getting harder to find scenes like this anymore. I try to capture scenes that are either firmly rooted in a period of time or place. With this image i hope to leave the viewer with a sense of what it was like to wander these streets a hundred years ago.
