About Meg

Meg Spitzer graduated with a BFA in 2005, moved to NYC and fell out of her art practice until 2018, when she found herself in LA with 2 small children and a need to make art again. She struggled to find a medium that fit her new life until receiving a macrame kit, which she completed in a few hours. An unexplored textile world ignited her, with its endless possibilities to explore. The patterns and knots became a meditation, a calm space just for her, and her love for fiber art was born.
