There was a time when the majority of my time was spent in the studio and classroom, and my students called me “Mr. Lu.” But the inner creative was yearning to get out, to get more done. Thus I put down the teaching cape and cowl, and returned to my roots as a designer, honing my skills with clients big and small. And along the way, I founded a clothing label, married a like-minded ninja, and realized my body craves amounts of Vitamin D that the Pacific Northwest just can’t provide.
